Support for latest JSON Schema drafts

Feb 16, 2013 at 2:08 AM
Can you comment on what impact the latest JSON Schema drafts have on JSON.NET and whether an update supporting the latest drafts is forthcoming?

Same here. I would like to know, if possible, when we can expect a new version of JSON.NET with support for the V4 draft.

Not anytime soon. 6 months+

Has this situation change?
A pull to the github code with the draft 4 would be considered?
There are not a huge number of changes:

Situation has not changed.

If anyone does it I'll take a look but no guarantees I'll accept it.

Any idea if JSON.NET will support v4 draft? I think the anyOf and oneOf keywords add a lot of value to validation.

Just FYI: I'm working on a JSON Schema draft v4 reader, generator and validator for .NET, go to for more information...

Good news!

I have finished a JSON schema validator with 100% support for Draft 4 (and 100% backwards compatibility with 3).

I threw away the old schema code and the new validator has been completely rewritten from the ground up. It is much cleaner, faster, and complete. There is also significantly more documentation and samples to help you get started.
