May 28, 2010 at 11:11 PM

I am wondering if i am doing something wrong here

I added Newtonsoft.Json.dll to my reference, in is in my bin folder and everything is looking good but when i try to import the namespace i get an error

here is the code

using System;
using System.Collections;
using System.Configuration;
using System.Data;
using System.Linq;
using System.Web;
using System.Web.Security;
using System.Web.UI;
using System.Web.UI.HtmlControls;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts;
using System.Xml.Linq;
using Common.Utilities.DataAccess2;
using Newtonsoft.Json;

public partial class _Default : System.Web.UI.Page
    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
        //string output = Json

and here is the error i get : The type or namespace name 'Newtonsoft' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I just deleted the project and recreated everything. This fixed my problem. Thanks

Make sure you used a version of the Newtonsoft DLL that is appropriate for the targeted framework version.
