Create Json file for calling from client application?

Feb 14, 2009 at 7:40 AM
I am new to Json.  I have been able to write SOAP/WSDL in .NET to pass data to other application.  In .NET it will compile a file into .asmx.  All I have to do is providing the URL path to this .asmx file in the client application.

How do I do similarly for Json?  Is there a file extension that I need to compile the codes to? Is there any special keywords that I need to use (in wsdl, I have to use [webmethod])?

Any pointer to any reference is greatly appreciated.
